DONATE

There are two ways to donate to the SIACF: by mail or online. You can contribute as little or as much as you desire to one or several of the Funds under the management of SIACF.

TYPE OF FUNDS:

MEMORIAL FUNDS

Memorial Funds are a way to recognize and remember a family member or an entire family. Establishing a memorial fund allows for specific needs to be addressed by the proceeds of the memorial if desired.

ESTATE BEQUESTS

Estate bequests are another way to leave funds to the SIACF and to establish a Fund that specifically targets needs based on your instructions. This should be done in consultation with your tax and or financial advisor. SIACF welcomes the opportunity to establish a Legacy or Estate planning Fund in your or your family's honor. Please contact us with your interest in this type of donating and we can assist in establishing a Fund that suites your interests now and into the future.

DONATE BY MAIL

You may send your contribution to either of the below addresses. Please indicate which Fund or Funds you wish to direct your contribution to and the amount. If there is a specific fund to which you would like to contribute or any other special wishes please provide a note with the information.

DONATE ONLINE

For your convenience, you may donate to the St. Ignace Area Community Foundation on-line. During the check-out process you will be asked if you have any special requests for use of your funds. To do this just indicate which Fund or Funds (see below) you wish to direct your contribution to and in which amount. Please indicate under "Add Special Instructions to the Seller" on the last screen if there is a specific fund to which you would like to contribute or any other special wishes.

If you do not designated a specific fund, the Board will direct that contribution to The Spirit of the Straits Fund, which benefits a wide variety of community projects.
